Following Square’s DKΣ3713 event last week, we were told that Aqua had appeared in a new costume in the Birth by Sleep trailer. Well, here she is!

Among these scans, other information is revealed (such as a scene involving Riku and Xion) and we get to see some new Coded shots as well. 358/2 Days is looking great as usual, and graphically Birth by Sleep is looking incredible (I’m still undecided about the battle-style though).

That’s right guys, IGN has premiered the first ever true in-game footage of 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep! What more could you want from a closed event!?

As we were told various times during the show, the games are indeed looking great in action, and I can’t wait to get my hands on 358/2 Days later this year to give you guys an exclusive demo!

Well, as promised, here’s our second DKΣ3713 article, this time concerning the major site’s previews, and the game’s actual releases.

First of all, lets talk 358/2 Days, seeing as its the first on the release scheduele. The game is apparently looking and playing great, and the multiplayer seems rather smooth. As mentioned in the previous article, Xion has been revealed, but we’re still not 100% certain on how far the story will go, and what exactly we will see the characters experience.

Next up, Coded is apparently looking better, and the storyline is continuing to grow more complex. Not much else to say here really… we’re still unsure if it’ll ever be playable outside of Japan.

Also, Birth by Sleep seems to have blown many players away, many of them comparing it to Crisis Core in terms of quality. The story is looking great (Maleficent seems to be the main villain, and Xehanort’s legend begins because of actions taken by her), and the gameplay is apparently “some of the best the series has ever seen.”

Lastly, we can talk release dates a little further. We can now confirm that both Coded and 358/2 Days will be released in December, 2008 in Japan. No word yet on English releases here. Also, various sources say that the maximum these two games can be delayed is until February of next year, so we’ll definitely be seeing the games within that time frame.

Birth by Sleep, however, is still unconfirmed, but will definitely be released somtime in 2009. Most sources say it will be within the first half of the year, although this is unconfirmed.

Well, sorry we weren’t able to update live guys, things got out of hand. What you need to know is all summarised here though!

First of all, we can confirm that the third enemy (featured in Birth by Sleep) is called the UNBIRTH. That’s right - the name that was rumoured early this year was a total fake. All the media on the evening referred to them as ‘Unbirths’. So there you have it. Heartless, Nobodies, Unbirths. The trio is complete.

Next up on the agenda is Aqua’s new costume as featured in Birth by Sleep. Although we don’t have any in-game shots to show you, some unnoficial fan-art has turned up revealing the new design - its a lot more casual than her knight’s armour obviously, and is reminiscent of Terra and Ven’s casual clothing. Also note the picture of the ‘unbirth’ here.

Next up, the 14th Member. Yep, we know her name. We know what she looks like. And now we’re all pretty darn confused. Her name is currently known as ‘Xion’ (pronounced ‘Shion’), and she looks like Kairi. So there you have it - Kairi’s nobody?

The image doesn’t show anything majorly new, but we get a few new shots here and there. I’ve also been told that the scan reveals that Coded will now be the last of the three to be released, seeing as Square are having trouble finding a provider. We’ll see.

Anyway, 358/2 Days is this year and Birth by Sleep’s release will be announced soon. Stay tuned for August 2 and 3 people!!

Nothing really major here guys, but Square has recently re-confirmed that Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for the DS is still schedueled for this year.

Inside the Dragon Quest V case (another DS title of their’s), a small advertisement is featured that states, rather simply, Coming 2008.

Nothing else to go with that guys; sorry. DKΣ3713 will hold all your answers, by August 2.

Square-Enix recently announced the ‘DK Σ 3713′ private event, which features all three of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles!

DK Σ 3713 (’D.K. Sigma Three-Seven-Thirteen’) stands, specifically, for ‘Dissidia, Kingdom Hearts, Sigma Harmonics, The 3rd Birthday, Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete, Final Fantasy 13‘. It is expected that the event will feature new trailers, media and information on all of these titles, but it is unsure if there will be any demos present.

Please note, the event will include information on all three upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles: 358/2 Days, Coded and Birth by Sleep will all be present. Also note, this confirms that rumours of Coded being cancelled are 100% false, it will still be on the show-floor.

Rest assured we will keep you up-to-date on the day of the event, and that you’ll hear anything new as we hear it.

The event will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of August, with an exclusive group of 400 people picked for each of the three sessions on each day: 10am, 1:30pm and 5pm.

Well, it’s been months since any real news, but at last we have something to tide us over - a leaked trailer of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for Sony’s PSP, taken at the Square-Enix Character Showcase.

Well, although we’ve seen most of this stuff in pictures before, or heard it explained, it is rather incredible to see the game in motion, and even more difficult to imagine that this is on a portable console! The effects are looking great, and we’re sure they’ll look even greater by the time its done.
